We are now 100 days from UCLA football taking the field to start the 2018 season, formally beginning the Chip Kelly. Here is what you need to know with 100 days to go…
The UCLA football team inches closer to the start of the new season with every passing day and today, we are only 100 sunrises until from the Bruins’ season opener against the Cincinnati Bearcats on Saturday, September 1.
Though we are still a ways away from kickoff, the season will be here sooner than you think, which is why Go Joe Bruin wants you to be as informed as possible in regards to all things UCLA Football.
Lets us start off with some key dates to keep in mind:
- May 23 – GJB begins the 2018 schedule previews – released once a week on Wednesday
- June 25 – Summer Session 2018 Begins – freshmen move in, begin workouts with the team
- July 2 – Go Joe Bruin Begins Depth Chart Projections – released every week on Monday
- July 9 (mid-month) – Preseason Award Watch Lists
- August 6 – Possible Start to Fall Camp
- September 1 – The 2018 Season Begins
Despite no football this summer, GJB will have plenty of information to keep you updated on all things that are Bruin. Every week, starting today, we will have a breakdown of the 2018 schedule as well as the position group depths charts, which we will begin on July 2 as we take a look at the quarterbacks.
Once August rolls around and fall camp starts, we will increase coverage as we start to see how Chip Kelly will shape his team.
