We start the show on a serious note as we take a moment to look at the aftermath of the UCLA shooting. During my monologue, I specifically recognize two Go Joe Bruin writers and their perceptions on the day’s event. If you have not already, please read Nathan Eberhardt‘s Tragedy and Terror Strike UCLA and Ashley Tellier‘s UCLA Athlete’s Need Guidance on Social Media Use.
We then lighten the mood as we get into some UCLA Football talk. Well sort of. Jake gets pretty livid and had something to say about UCLA not admitting potential starting center Jake Raulerson.
We then examine Head Coach Jim Mora‘s recent two-year extension. Is it good or bad? Is he deserving of it or not? Whatever it is, we agree on one thing… Mora needs to win a Pac-12 Championship.
We then jump into a little basketball talk and examine the non-conference schedule for the UCLA Basketball team. This year, the Bruins will play Kentucky, Michigan and Ohio State (for starters) and we tell you how that will end.
And are you ready for
? We tell you all about the unofficial start to the college football season as the Conference of Champions announces their line-up for the two-day event.
