Tragedy and Terror Strike UCLA

A message from Go Joe Bruin to the UCLA family, staff, and student body.

News is breaking that there’s been a shooting at UCLA this morning, and the campus is on lockdown. We don’t know much more, and to speculate would be irresponsible. We just wanted to lend our support, however inadequate, at this time.

Sports appropriately take a back seat in times like these. But sooner than we think, UCLA athletics will play a critical role. Healing happens in community, and sports play a prominent role in shaping and binding the Bruin community. We at Go Joe Bruin look forward to doing our part in that healing by covering and discussing the teams we all love.
