Should He Stay Or Should He Go? What Will Happen With Jim Mora?

So will UCLA Football Head Coach Jim Mora move on to the NFL or will he stay and clean house?

It was quiet on Sunday in regards to information about UCLA football Head Coach Jim Mora. The last bits of information that that came out had the four-year college head coach as a top candidate for the Miami Dolphins head coaching position.

But there was also talk of Mora being a candidate with the San Diego Chargers if they were to get rid of current coach Mike McCoy. A third possibility was looking to the New Orleans Saints. Honestly, with all the rumors going around, it is a surprise that there are not more teams linked to Mora. Or are there?

More from Go Joe Bruin

As Twitter reacted to the firing of Jim Tomsula by the San Francisco 49ers, rumors started up on social media about Mora being linked to that opening, though it was once again more for entrainment value than actual fact.

Bottom line is, we have no idea what is happening… but we will on Monday.

If Mora takes a job in the pros, the search begins for a new UCLA Football coach. If he stays, well, moves might be made that will affect the UCLA Football program going forward anyway.

That is in regards to the of the potential firings of certain position coaches. One in question is Offensive Coordinator Noel Mazzone — who has not been a popular coach as of late — could leave UCLA, but not because he gets terminated, but because he might take the offensive coordinator position with Texas A&M.
