More from Go Joe Bruin

After UCLA defeated Utah 17-9, they eliminated the Utes from the South Division race. USC is also alive in South Division despite losing to Oregon. So now we have a battle for the ages… as it should be.

Both UCLA and USC are 5-3 in conference and overall the Bruins are 8-3 whilst the Trojans are 7-4. There are no College Football Playoff implications here, but on the line is a possible trip to the Rose Bowl. Just like old times.

In the last few years, the crosstown domination has been all UCLA as Head Coach Jim Mora is 3-0 against USC and has a chance to get his fourth starlight victory over the Trojans, all while facing four different USC coaches.

Before that it was five years in a row USC beat UCLA. So what happens this year, will the Trojans take back the Victory Bell or will the Bruins extend their streak? We find out this Saturday!
