In Episode 39 of the What’s Bruin Podcast, Bill Shirley, Jake Merrifield and I take a look back at UCLA’s dominant 62-27 victory over the Arizona State Sun Devils. It starts off with Jake telling us about his carnage-filled journey into the desert, the mix of fans at the game and the overall atmosphere of Sun Devil Stadium. We then all give our opinions on what worked for the Bruins and how they can keep this up going momentum forward.
Speaking of going forward, we then look into the match-up UCLA has with the Utah Utes this Saturday and try to figure out if the Bruins will again be triumphant or get rocked looking ahead. One thing is for sure, the special teams match-up between UCLA and Utah is going to be exceptional!
Among all of that conversation, we then get into a heated discussion on the Bruins blitzing. Is UCLA doing fine without a potent blitz attack or is it better for them to step up the defensive pressure? There are good arguments on each side, but ultimately, it is up to YOU, the listener!
