UCLA Bruins Football: The 2019 Season Dawns!
Greetings, fellow Bruins fans! My name is Tyler Glaze, and as a proud Bruin alum, I could not be more excited to be part of the GoJoeBruin team. For my first article series, I thought I would take a deep dive into UCLA Bruins Football and their first opponent, the Cincinnati Bearcats, and see how our beloved Bruins might stack up in the long-anticipated rematch.
UCLA Bruins Football Season Preview Part 2: Cincinnati Running Game
First and foremost, this is obviously a chance for UCLA to redeem itself, having suffered a disappointing loss to the Bearcats at the opening of the Chip Kelly era. UCLA looks to be improved in basically every position group, and this season is the first since 2013 that UCLA has had continuity at both coordinator positions. But this Bearcat team will not go quietly into that good night, and returns plenty of firepower that could make this contest interesting.
For the first part in this series, I will break down the Bearcat offense, specifically the quarterbacks, wide receivers, and tight ends, and look at how they may fare matched up with UCLA.
