On Wednesday, the Bruins introduced the four newest members of the program as PG Jaden Owens (Plano West/Plano, TX), PG Charisma Osborne (Windward/Moreno Valley, CA), F Brynn Masikewich (Lincoln Prep/Alberta, Canada), and G Camryn Brown (Prestonwood Christian/Lewisville, TX) have all signed their national letters of intent.

Bruins fans knew this was going to be a great class when 5-star Owens committed to the class back in June. She was the first to commit to UCLA which signaled a continuation of Close’s dedication to recruiting. Owens is an aggressive point guard that is reminiscent of Jordin Canada and fits perfectly into UCLA’s uptempo style.

Close did not stop there when it came to PGs as she was also able to land 5-star Osborne. This So Cal native will add some depth to the guard position and should give the Bruins a killer frontcourt in a few seasons.

With UCLA’s point guard situation set for the next few seasons, they filled out a few other positional needs as they signed two 4-star rated players (according to ProsepectsNation.com) to this class.

After the commitments by Owens and Osborne, Masikewich, who played on the Canadian National U17 team, gave her pledge to the Bruins. She is the only frontcourt signee but should be able to make an immediate impact as she knows how to create space in the paint, clean the glass, and execute the outlet pass. Brown committed to the Bruins a few weeks ago, rounding out this top 10 class. She will not only add depth but will be effective on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball.
