UCLA Football quarterback Josh Rosen is an early pick by CBS Sports to be a top 3 selection in the 2018 NFL Draft.

It is never too early to look ahead at next year’s NFL Draft which is good because UCLA Football QB Josh Rosen is getting some early love, especially from CBS Sports.

The UCLA Football program under Head Coach Jim Mora has done an excellent job of getting players to the NFL. This year, five Bruins were drafted into the NFL as well as six more were able to sign with teams as undrafted free agent.

With what Mora has been able to bring in, it is safe to say that the turnover to the NFL from Westwood has been very good.

That trend looks to continue into next season as CBS Sports has the current Bruin quarterback Josh Rosen as the #3 pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.

More from Go Joe Bruin

The former five-star quarterback started his UCLA career on fire as he did a fine job replacing three-year starter Brett Hundley in his freshman year as he went 8-5. He was then looking to build off the success in 2016, unfortunately that went off the rails with an inept offensive style and Rosen getting injured six games into the season.

Despite the Bruins being unsuccessful, Rosen was still pretty sharp, for the most part. Through six games he had 319.2 yards per game, 10 touchdowns and a 59.3%of his passes completed.

Well now Rosen is back at looks to be fully recovered from his shoulder injury. During spring practice this past April, Rosen appeared to be back to his regular form. He had several up-and-down performances as he worked with a new offense this spring, but Rosen looks ready to lead the UCLA Football team back onto the field this fall.

You can expect Rosen, Mora and the rest of the Bruins to try to reverse that trend from 2016. If Rosen can improve off of his freshman season and half of his sophomore year, then the Bruins should be in better shape than they were in 2016.
