The UCLA Basketball team has moved up to #3 in the AP Poll after their victory over Arizona as we head into the final week of the regular season.

The UCLA Basketball team is now garnering the attention that they so rightly deserve and it is about time.

Though they have been getting love from the Associated Press all season long, UCLA now finds themselves in a position to show other college basketball critics that they are one of the top teams in the nation.

Bruin fans have been bitter about the lack of respect the UCLA Basketball team has been getting from certain pundits like the NCAA Selection Committee and Joe Lunardi and his Bracketology.

Recently, both have pegged the Bruins as a #4-seed in the NCAA Tournament despite Top 10 rankings by the AP.

Though we have yet to see how those two entities will respond to the most recent win by the Bruins, it is safe to say that the blue and gold have turned some heads.

Not only did UCLA get back at Arizona for their previous loss against the Wildcats back in January, but the Bruins are on a 7-game win streak which has been fueled by a balance of defense and their uptempo ofriends.

The Bruins are simply on fire and this latest ranking proves it, but if UCLA wants to get a high seed, they need to take care of business the rest of the way.

The Bruins finish up the season at home this week against Washington and Washington State, two teams the had little trouble with on the road earlier this season. UCLA then starts the Pac-12 Tournament next week and even though it appears they may just miss out on win a regular season tittle, they have already clinched a first-round bye.

Next: Now Will The Bruins Get Some Respect?
