Documents were released this morning revealing information that UCLA Football DC Tom Bradley knew about Jerry Sandusky and his sexual abuse of children.
The only thing that feared Bruin fans when UCLA, the UCLA Atheltic Department and UCLA Football Head Coach Jim Mora were vetting former Penn State Defensive Coordinator Tom Bradley to hire for the open DC position was that he had no knowledge of the abuses that occurred by Jerry Sandusky.

Those fears seem to have come back to haunt UCLA as documents were revealed containing information about Bradley’s knowledge of Sandusky.
A Philadelphia court unsealed a deposition that included former PSU gradiate assistant Mike McQueary naming Bradley and Ohio State coach Greg Schiano as two that knew about the abuses by Sandusky as far back as the early 1990’s.

This is not good for UCLA. Though the document states that Bradley was “upset and frustrated about this”, the problem here, if it is true that he knew, is that he did not report it to authorities.
UCLA had vetted Bradley for information like this when looking to hire him two years ago. If anyone knew about the information released today, in my opinion, the hire would not have been made, which currently puts UCLA Football and Jim Mora in an awkward position, in my opinion.
This is bad timing for Mora as Pac-12 Media Day starts this Thursday and what would have been him answering a variety of questions about his altered offense and 4-3 defense, will now having him take on questions regarding Bradley, his hire and what’s the next step.
Either way, Mora and UCLA will have to say something about this situation in the next few days and what it means for UCLA Football going forward. If Bradley stays with the team what will the repercussions be, both public and private? Does he get fired and if so, what will happen with the defense?
