UCLA Football Fall Camp Schedule

The dates and times for the UCLA Football team’s Fall Camp have been reported.

So apparently the UCLA Football fall camp schedule is out. It has not yet been officially announced by the UCLA Football team or UCLA Athletic Department, but Bruin Report Online apparently had the information and tweeted out the schedule this weekend.

Two things standout about this. First, UCLA is going back to San Bernardino, but only for one week rather than the usual two weeks that has been predetermined by Head Coach Jim Mora. Instead, the Bruins will be at home in Westwood in Week 1 of Fall Camp.

Mora is known to throw a few curve balls into practices to keep the players on their toes, which might be what is happening this year. Two years ago, for 2 days before fall camp, Mora took the team to San Diego to train with the Navy SEALs. So maybe Mora has a surprise awaiting the team in the opening week.

Second, with there being no press release, it has not been made known if there would be another fan appreciation event which usually occurs on the final day of practice out in San Bernardino.

Here is the schedule that was tweeted out by Bruin Report Online:

Week 1 – at UCLA Intramural Field

Mon, Aug 8, 9:30 a.m.

Tue, Aug 9, 9:30 a.m.

Wed, Aug 10, 3:30 p.m.

Thu, Aug 11, 9:30 a.m.

Fri, Aug 12, 9:30 a.m.

Sat, Aug 13, 8:30 a.m./3:30 p.m.

Sun – off

Week 2 – at Cal State San Bernardino

Mon, Aug 15, 8:30 a.m./5:45 p.m.

Tue, Aug 16, 3:00 p.m.

Wed, Aug 17, 8:30 a.m./5:45 p.m.

Thu, Aug 18, 3:00 p.m.

Fri, Aug 19, 8:30 a.m./5:45 p.m.

Sat, Aug 20, 3:30 p.m.

After returning from San Bernardino, UCLA usually returns home and starts planning for the first game of the season during the final two weeks of camp. That should be the case this year.

The Bruins start the season on Saturday, September 3 at 12:30 p.m. PT at Texas A&M. The Bruins are looking to improve off their an 8-5 record in 2015 with a very treacherous schedule that includes the aforementioned Aggies, BYU Cougars, Stanford Cardinal, Utah Utes and USC Trojans. Go Bruins!
