UCLA Football Signee Quick Notes

UCLA now has a second scholarship quarterback after Josh Rosen as Jerry Neuheisel has graduated. Though this helps with immediate depth, the Bruins need to continue to focus their efforts on getting another QB this season or next. With several notable quarterbacks transferring around the country, could UCLA be in for an experienced QB to transfer?

The Bruins also get two much needed players at receiver. Demeteric Felton looks to be a good project while Theo Howard could make an immediate impact as a receiving speedster.

More from Go Joe Bruin

These two signees will help the depth, especially with the Bruins losing Ryan Newsome last signing day and then having their only WR commit, Cordell Broadus, leave the team to pursue other options at UCLA.

Nick Terry will be much needed on the D-line as UCLA only received one commitment last season. UCLA Football also thickens up at linebacker as 4-star LBs Brelan Brandt and Lokeni Toailoa match the amount of Bruin commits at backer from last season.

This is not all as far as LBs go. UCLA also has a few other linebackers they are targeting, specifically 5-star Mique Juarez.

Though the Bruins loaded up in the secondary last year, they have some work to do for the 2016 class as currently they only have 3-star safety Leni Toailoa committed to UCLA.

How do you replace an All-American like Ka’Imi Fairbairn? With a 4-star rated kicker like J.J. Molson who, like Fairbairn, can also kick 60-yard field goals.
