UCLA Football: Bruins To Face The Nebraska Cornhuskers in the Foster Farms Bowl
The UCLA Football team is heading to the Foster Farms Bowl on December 26 to face the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
It is set, Ladies and Gentlemen! The UCLA Football team (5-4, 8-4, 3rd in Pac-12 South) is now confirmed to go to the Foster Farms Bowl on December 26 and will face the Nebraska Cornhuskers (3-5, 5-7, 4th in Big Ten West).
After an injury-plagued season, the Bruins surprisingly finished in the top half of the Pac-12 South Division and was even in contention for a chance to head to the Pac-12 Championship Game. Unfortunately, the Bruins lost that chance as they ran out of gas in their loss to USC in their final game of the regular season.

Nebraska has not had the most ideal season either. The Huskers had an underwhelming campaign in Head Coach Mike Riley‘s first season in Lincoln. Despite their porous record, they did have a few notable highlights.

The biggest one being the 39-38 victory over College Football Playoff participant Michigan State. The Huskers gave the Spartans their only loss of the season.
Both teams will now get one last shot for victory as both will meet in Santa Clara at Levi’s Stadium.
The Bruins had a home-and-home with Nebraska during the 2012 and 2013 seasons with UCLA winning both contests.
The second of the two was an emotional one as a week before the Bruins were to head to Lincoln, walk-on receiver Nick Pasquale was killed. The Nebraska fans had helped UCLA honor his memory before the game in one of the most respectful and emotional tributes ever witnessed in college football.
