UCLA Basketball: Welcome, Class of 2016!
The UCLA Basketball team got a little deeper today as a few recruits from the 2016 class officially started the signing process with the Bruins.
The UCLA Basketball team began the signing process for their 2016 class today. The Bruins have received commitments from 5-star point guard Lonzo Ball, 4-star center Ike Angbogu and 3-star small forward Kobe Parras as UCLA brings in the 6th best recruiting class in the nation (per Scout.com).

Anigbogu is the #1 rated center in the west per Scout. He is a 6’10”, 240 lbs. beast that is a threat on offense and defense and will bring more depth to the front court. Parras is a sharp shooting forward/slam dunk machine out of Cathedral High School in Los Angeles that ranks #6 in the west.
The biggest catch of the 2016 class comes from Lonzo Ball. The #1 point guard in the west from Chino Hills has not yet signed, but is planning to during a ceremony at his high school on Thursday.
The Bruins could also get a second surprise on Thursday if all goes as expected with 5-star forward T.J. Leaf. Leaf is a former Arizona commit that opened his recruitment back in August and will be deciding between UCLA, Oregon and San Diego State.

If the Bruins do get Leaf, as is expected, UCLA Basketball could very well pull in a Top 3 recruiting class. On top of that, the Bruins should be a very good team in 2016-17.
Though the signing process is not over, we would like to say, “Welcome to Westwood, Bruins!”
