UCLA Football Rising – Bruins Move To #10 in the AP Poll
After a savage 37-3 beating of UNLV, UCLA Football moved up three spots to #10 in this week’s AP Poll.

The AP Poll looks a lot different from a week ago. UCLA Football, after their desert beat down on UNLV, has moved up three spots to #10.
Aside from the Rebel bloodletting, several other factors helped the Bruins to climb the charts. The one that most directly affects UCLA is Oregon‘s loss to Michigan State. The Ducks dropped from #7 to #12. MSU went form #5 to #4.

Staying with the Pac-12, there were a few other movements on the poll as USC moved up two spots to #6, Arizona climbed to #20 and Utah is right behind them at #21.
As for the rest of the nation, UCLA’s next opponent BYU, has now moved into the Top 25 at #19, which means we will have a battle of ranked teams next Saturday at the Rose Bowl.

Then there were a few Top 25 teams that got reality checks with loses and near-losses to opponents who they should have played far better against. Then #18 Arkansas dropped out of the polls after losing to Toledo and in the biggest fall, Auburn fell 12 spots to #18 after a near loss to Jacksonville State.
