Bruin Report Online has repotted that 4-star wide receiver Cordell Broadus, son of Snoop Dogg, has decided to quit UCLA Football but stay enrolled at school.

UCLA Football Head Coach Jim Mora had addressed the situation and stated that Broadus will continue at UCLA but will look to pursue his love of film rather than football. Bruin Report Online had stated that Broadus wants to do his own thing “since his father had always pushed him to play football”.

If this is the decision Broadus needs to make for himself, than good for him. Making life-changing decisions like these are huge for a young adult, especially when they get to college where so many other opportunities are available to him.

As for the UCLA Football team, they definitely take a hit as they are not only down a receiver, but they are down the ONLY receiver to sign a national letter of intent to UCLA Football this past National Signing Day.

As for 2016, the Bruins currently have only two wide receivers committed: slot receiver Demetric Felton and Dymond Lee, who may be looking for some time at the QB spot.

Good luck to Broadus on his future endeavors! Go Bruins!
