UCLA vs Stanford has a lot on the line in terms of conference play, but it also means one of two win streaks will be broken.

For Stanford, their current streak directrly involves UCLA. For seven consecutive games, the Cardinal have pushed around the Bruins and it has not been pretty.
So which streak will be in tact after Thursday night’s game? Will Stanford beat UCLA for the 8th straight time or will the Bruins extend their road win streak to 13?
Even with all the momentum and all the talent the UCLA football team has brought against Stanford, the Cardinal always had an answer for the Bruins. Proof of that comes from the 17.9 average margin of victory for Stanford in those seven games.
Most of those games were double-digit wins topped with a 35-0 win in 2010, though there was one bright spot.
The Bruins were actually leading the Cardinal in the second half of the 2012 Pac-12 Championship Game. UCLA got smacked the previous week by Stanford in both team’s final regular season game, but then the Bruins brought it in a game that would have meant their first Pac-12 Conference Championship since 1998. Still, it was a loss.

For UCLA, they are currently riding a 12-game win streak away from the Rose Bowl.
UCLA Bruins
Though the Bruins have had a tough time in their home stadium lately, on the road they are warriors. They once again proved that in their last away contest as the Bruins brutalized Arizona, 56-30.
The last time UCLA lost on the road was on October 26, 2013 when the Bruins took one on the chin at Oregon with a 42-14 loss. Since then, even though sone of them were not pretty, the Bruins have rattled off 12 straight. That is impressive.
So which streak will be in tact after Thursday night’s game? Will Stanford beat UCLA for the 8th straight time or will the Bruins extend their road win streak to 13?
Considering all the factors (Thursday games are wacky, UCLA hasn’t lost coming out of a bye week in the Jim Mora-era, Davis Shaw has not lost to Mora, etc.) this is not an easy prediction to make.
Still, one of these teams will extend their streak and strengthen their standing in the Pac-12. The other will not. This is the way it goes in the Pac-12 Conference so let’s hope it goes the way of the Bruins. Please.
