Skyy Clark is the last piece for the UCLA Bruins that is yet to be determined this offseason. It is a wait-and-see game to see if he will get a fifth year of eligibility. Allowing him to return to UCLA for one more season in 2026. The basis behind the petition is he only played 13 games his freshman year at Illinois. If UCLA is able to get positive news, that would be six of six boxes checks internally.
UPDATE: #UCLA senior guard Skyy Clark will seek a 5th year of eligibility.

Clark told me he’s been working with the university’s compliance office & assistant coach Nate Georgeton to submit the necessary files to the NCAA.
The basis of Clark’s argument is that he played only…
UCLA received commitments that Eric Freeny, Brandon Williams, Eric Dailey Jr., Xavier Booker and Trent Perry will all return for 2026. That gives them a good building block for any transfers that they want to go out and get. Paired with the potential of two recruits in Joe Philon and Javonte Floyd, this team has potential. That is something they will need to get rid of this round of 32 curse that is surrounding them.
UCLA is a blue blood program, but they need to get back to the success that they have had in the past. Not what they have been the last three years. Skyy Clark is a great shooter and provides veteran experience. If UCLA is able to get a positive ruling for him, that’d be a huge bonus for this team. Shooting is hard to come by and can break down zone defenses that majority of these schools like to run.

Clark would slot in as the returning starting shooting guard. Perry will be the main ball handler at the point guard position. As UCLA possibly goes out into the transfer portal and gets a combo guard or wing. With Dailey Jr. staying at power forward, they have multiple lineups that they can move around. Allowing them to play opponents based on matchups that they feel is best. But this roster is far from done regardless of a decision on Clark.
