Tyler Bilodeau was the only Bruin to receive an invite to the NBA combine. As the outgoing senior looks to make his case to be an NBA Draft pick in 2026. His teammate Donovan Dent did not receive an invite who is also trying to be a possible second round selection. Both of them played key parts in the 2025 UCLA season but battled injuries late. With Bilodeau missing the NCAA tournament and Dent missing most of the Purdue game in the Big Ten tournament.

Bilodeau has NBA potential with his ability to shoot the ball very well. Last season as a senior he showed that he could be a three level scorer with a shooting line of 51.8/46.4/87.3. His biggest? Will be what position he can play in the NBA. His footwork is not quick enough to keep up with small forwards and he may not be strong or quick enough to be a power forward. With the league becoming faster and faster.
But that should not stop Bilodeau because he has a hard work ethic. You can also look at another former Bruin that have the same question marks about him. Jaime Jaquez Jr. they said would have trouble succeeding in the NBA because he was a tweener forward as well. But he has become one of the best sixth men in the NBA and putting those questions to bed.

Bilodeau because of his ability to space the floor will find a role with an NBA team. It is very possible that a team in the second round drafts him before making it to the UDFA pool. The NBA is a 3-point shooting game now and you have a player that shot 46.4% from there in a power conference. That alone will create some draft buzz and he has the opportunity to have a good combine and help his status as well.
