Tyler Bilodeau had a really good scoring senior season. He led the Bruins at 17.6 points per game and could score from all levels of the floor. Being a very good back to the basket player as well as a 3-point shooter. His game completely changed the UCLA offense and spaced the floor very well. You saw the difference that he made for UCLA and the game earlier in the season versus California when he missed that game UCLA could not get anything going on offense and lost 80-72 as big favorites.

Bilodeau finished his senior season with three straight games not playing. After going down in the Big Ten tournament against Michigan State in a game that UCLA upset the Spartans. He then would miss the next game against Purdue and then both NCAA tournament games against UCF and UCONN. His presence on the floor was greatly missed and leaves a lot of what ifs about this UCLA team that was finally starting to click when they were healthy.

UCLA most likely wins the game against Purdue in the Big Ten tournament if both Donovan Dent and Bilodeau are healthy and playing. They only lost that game 73-66 without their top two players playing. If they’re able to win that game, that sets up a championship matchup against Michigan. Most likely leading UCLA to a much higher seed in the NCAA tournament and a chance to make a run. But without them healthy they landed the No. 7 seed and lost 73-57 to UCONN in the round of 32.

Bilodeau now ends his college career and looks towards a possible NBA career. Most scouts have him as a possible second round draft pick or undrafted free agent. His ability to be able to score the basketball and shoot long range is his best opportunity at an NBA career. The issue is there is not a prototypical position for him. He might be too small for power forward and too slow for small forward. His resume also didn’t get to include the NCAA tournament run that he could’ve had.
