Skyy Clark scored his 1,000th point of his college career on Saturday afternoon against Minnesota. The senior guard has played for three college teams, with this being his second season as a UCLA Bruin. He also spent a season with Illinois and a season with Louisville before landing with UCLA last season. He has become one of the best 3-point shooters in the nation and now reaches a big college milestone. Being able to reach 1,000 points in college shows tremendous discipline. In an age with so many transfers and players going to the NBA.

Clark has become a big part of the UCLA team. Averaging 12.4 points per game this season which includes 47.6% from 3-point range. He became a starter from the moment that he got to Westwood with only a few games coming off the bench this season due to injury and load management returning. His ability to space the floor and defend at a high level, makes him one of the Bruins best and most important players. His absence was felt many times when he was out with a hamstring injury.
Clark might be back for another season next year with UCLA. As there are reports that he may petition for another college eligibility year. Since he did have one season cut short his freshman year at Illinois. So, there is the possibility that he can continue to add to his college point total. Which could reach up to 1,500 points if he were to play at UCLA for another season. Since UCLA has quite a few players graduating out and he would have a huge role.
.@calpostbbolch asked Mick Cronin if #UCLA senior Skyy Clark would try for another year of eligibility.

“Yes.”
Why?

Regardless of how it was done, Clark is a very good college basketball player. One that has the ability to go to the NBA and make an impact. Players that can shoot long distance and defend, are able to create long NBA careers. He is able to do both of those very well. Leading to him possibly being one of the higher upside players on the Bruins roster. Congrats on a great career that continues to keep going for Clark.
