Skyy Clark continued his tremendous play with the Bruins last night versus Washington. He had 25 points on 7-9 shooting, including 6-7 from 3-point range. Clark has been absolutely shooting the lights out this season as he is now 51.6% from long range. Well above the national average and providing instant offense for the Bruins. He is playing his way into being a legit NBA player for teams that are coveting some spacing for their teams. With the NBA being a lot more long distance than shooting now, he fits perfect.

When Clark came back to UCLA after last season. It was considered huge for Mick Cronin. As he saw quite a few players hit the transfer portal or graduate out. Clark, Eric Dailey Jr., and Tyler Bilodeau were the three you wanted back. They played their best basketball last season and have taken their games to another level this year. Now they need to continue to incorporate in Donovan Dent and Xavier Booker to complete the chemistry between the starters.
Clarkβs game has continually grown throughout his college career. His 3-point shooting percentages have been 33.3, 35.3, 39.7 and 51.6. Showing his shot is as confident as ever for the Bruins. Clark started his career at Illinois and then transferred to Louisville, before ultimately ending up at UCLA last year. So he hasnβt been in one offense for more than a year since high school at Montverde Academy.

The Bruins will need Clark to continue his consistent play. As some of the teams they will be playing will have tight zones and defenses. Spacing is at a premium and Clark is right up there with the best in the nation at shooting. He wonβt shoot 6-7 from 3-point range every night. But if you can get a solid 40%, you will be sitting in a good position. He has shown he is ready to foot that bill as well for the Bruins.
