Sienna Betts was a 5-star recruit in the class of 2025. She was the No. 2 ranked prospect in the nation only behind Aaliyah Chavez. She committed early to UCLA in June, 2024, to join her sister Lauren on the roster. That was seen as a huge selling point and being able to land Sienna for the future. Now, fresh off of a championship this past season. Sienna will now get the opportunity to play a large role in the new era of UCLA basketball.

With UCLA sending off six players to the WNBA draft. They have many huge voids on their roster they must replace. They went out and got multiple transfers and will expect tremendous growth out of Sienna and Lena Bilić. All the talent is there for UCLA to build a new championship contender. They will be a good team in 2026, but there will be some growing pains as this team comes together.

Let’s face it, the 2025 team will not be replicated right off the bat. It was a very good team that was elite on offense and defense. But we expect Sienna to put all that she learned on the table from the seniors into this new construction. Lauren was a huge reason why she chose UCLA and now she will have the opportunity to continue what her sister provided the college.

Sienna is a very talented player, and she showed that in some games this season. Although she played limited minutes for most of the season with the top seven in place. There were games she flashed what she can do in the future. Such as a double double in the first NCAA tournament game against Cal Baptist with 10 points and 12 rebounds. There will be many more of those to come this season as well.
