Sienna Betts gives a glimpse of how she will lead UCLA beginning in 2026

Sienna Betts is a dynamic freshman for this UCLA Bruins team. She gave a taste of what the future UCLA roster will look like with her leading it. She had a great game in the round of 64 against Cal Baptist. Going for a double double with 10 points and 12 rebounds. Showing she is ready to take over this UCLA team after this season. With the top six players graduating out and heading to the WNBA. A new era is set to begin for UCLA.

UCLA will look to finish this season winning their first national championship. That would be the best send off for the six seniors that are graduating out. They’ve put in so much work this season and in previous seasons. All leading up to this point of having their best chance ever at winning a championship. As they have compiled their best team ever. Going 32-1 up until this point and being elite on both ends of the floor.

Lauren Betts was a huge reason that UCLA was able to land Sienna as one of the top recruits in the nation. It helps to have her sister on the team and can advocate for her signing with UCLA. Sienna has the ability to be one of the best players in the nation, just like her sister. She will get every opportunity to do so leading this team starting next year. The goal is that Sienna and Lena Bilić can be good building blocks for this team.

Obviously, UCLA will need to retool their roster with so many players that are leaving. But this is one of the best teams in the nation and they will definitely be able to do so. There will be some new recruits coming in as well as them hitting the transfer portal. It makes things much easier that Sienna is here. UCLA can go out and build around her to create a new contender for this college.
