25 game check in Sienna Betts is absorbing the knowledge to lead this team in the future of post Lauren era

Sienna Betts missed the first 10 games of the season due to injury. She has now played in 15 games off the bench. Providing the team with another scorer who can fill the stat sheet with double digit scoring nights. She chose UCLA to stay close to her sister Lauren and team up with her this season. Well also being a building block for the future. The Bruins will lose their top six scorers at the conclusion of this season. Sienna gives them the opportunity to continue to be successful for a longer window, along with fellow freshman Lena Bilić.

Betts was one of the best recruits in the nation when she chose UCLA. She can be a dominant player on both ends similar to her sister. She will continue to play a role off the bench for the Bruins for the rest of this season. Then could be the leading player for them next year. Depending on who all the Bruins are able to bring in. But she has a ton of talent and is expected to compete for some big-time college awards.

She has had five double digit scoring games and can rebound the ball well. Her and Angela Dugalić are one of the best duos in the country to come off of a bench. When the team needs a spark plug or continuing consistency. They know they have two players to rely on off of the bench in Betts and Dugalić. Betts is currently averaging 7.3 points and 4.4 rebounds per game on 56.1% from the field on the season.

Sienna could have her number called for a larger role at any time. You never know about fatigue or a minor injury that can push a player into the starting lineup. She can continue to absorb as much knowledge as possible from this team. Before getting the keys to the offense and defense for next season. Hopefully it all culminates in a championship in her freshman year, and it all leads to a great career after that.
