Jeremiah Wilkinson has entered the transfer portal and will be looking for his third team in three years. Last year he played at Georgia and was a very good scoring guard for the team. His freshman season he played at Cal and had a good scoring season as well. Over 63 college games he has averaged 16.3 points per game. Showing that he is more than capable of leading the scoring load. He does so on high volume as his field goal percentage is at 40.5% but he is a capable 3-point shooter at 35.7% last year.

Georgia went 22-11 this past season as Wilkinson by far, led the team in scoring. He finished the season with 21 games of at least 15 points scored. Including 30 points in his final game against Saint Louis. Wilkinson is a player that could step right in for UCLA and help handle some of the scoring load. Especially as they await the decisions on Skyy Clark eligibility and Trent Perry returning.

It is no secret that UCLA needs to get better on offense. They have had two straight round of 32 exits and continue to try and find an identity after the Jaime Jaquez Jr. team is all gone. They made a big splash last season in the transfer portal by getting Donovan Dent. Although he picked it up later in the season, he battled inconsistencies for a majority of the season. UCLA needs to make some transfer portal additions to replenish this roster.

Wilkinson could be a guy that could get you 17 points per game. Maybe a new system could help him build his efficiency as well. He showed his capabilities on defense as well, averaging 1.6 steals per game last season. Any player that UCLA goes into the portal to get, they will preach defense under a Mick Cronin led team. It remains to be seen what type of interest Wilkinson will get once signing begins.
