We get things started with a look at what the women’s UCLA basketball team has been up to this week and let us just say, they have been busy. Not only did three Bruins (Michaela Onyenwere, Kennedy Burke, and Lindsay Corsaro) make multiple All-Pac-12 teams, but head coach Cori Close was also named the Pac-12 Media Coach of the Year.

This is on top of the fact that they are one of the hottest teams in the country right now as they prepare to do some damage in the Pac-12 Tournament starting on Friday.
Additionally, in case you missed it, Mike talked with former UCLA Women’s basketball legend Jordin Canada who talked about her transition to the pros, being a WNBA Champion and her takes on Cori Close’s success with the Bruins this year. You can hear that episode HERE.
Jake and I then turn our attention to the men’s team who are in a hot streak of their own, especially with Jaylen Hands running things. Not only is Hands playing the best basketball of his UCLA career, but he has helped the Bruins to a three-game win streak and has won four of their last five games.
Can UCLA use this momentum to beat Colorado and Utah this week and lock down a first-round bye in the Pac-12 Tournament? It is possible.
We then take a look at the UCLA football team as they begin Spring Practice. Though there was not a lot of impactful information, there were quite a few updates in regards to players leaving the team and a few important updates in regards to a few position groups, including the quarterbacks who find themselves very thin this Spring.
