With the UCLA football team beginning Spring Training in just under a week, we discuss a few articles from Go Joe Bruin that focus on six players that will stand out in camp. We also briefly discuss the five biggest position group battles that could be decided in camp.
After that, we then shift to a discussion on the UCLA women’s basketball team who is one of the hottest programs in the country right now. In their last ten games, they have gone 8-2, they are currently in that coveted 4th place spot in the standings and have finally cracked the Top 25. If you haven’t been paying attention to Cori Close’s squad, now is the time.
We then get to talking about UCLA men’s basketball as we recap the games that were as the Bruins took down Oregon State and had an epic comeback against Oregon. Were these wins signs of improvement or is UCLA destined to let us down again?
After that discussion, we preview the USC-UCLA basketball game with Trojan hoops analyst Chris Penrose who talks to us about what has been going on with USC this season and what they will bring to Pauley Pavilion on Thursday. Will this be a repeat of January’s Trojan victory or will the situation favor the Bruins in this game?
