The UCLA Basketball team is back out on the road as the Bruins look to snap (another) three-game losing streak against the worst team in the Pac-12, Cal.
The UCLA Basketball team is only two games out of second place in the Pac-12. A win today will keep them in the hunt for a bye in the Pac-12 Tournament.
Though things have not gone according to plan with UCLA, they still have a chance to make some noise in the post-season, but they have to get through Stanford first.

- David Singleton – IN the last three games, Singleton has been averaging 7.0 points per game off the bench. He has been a spark plug for the Bruins and a freshman that is developing right before our eyes.
Last Word
The UCLA basketball team continues to be a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma. They play very well for spurts of time and then fall to pieces, similar to what we saw last week against Utah.

They start off games slow and then have to work their way back into the game, similar to what we saw against Cal. The thing about the game against the Golden Bears is that they are the worst team in the conference, yet the Bruins could not get a handle on them until overtime.
This is a very talented UCLA squad, they just do not play consistently. They make simple mistakes and do not play as a team. But then they have those moments when they do play as a team, but cannot sustain that momentum.
The Bruins truly are a puzzle.
That is why it is hard to predict what will happen in this game. The Bruins dominated Stanford back at Pauley last month, but since then, the Cardinal have been playing better basketball.
Currently, both are tied for 6th in the conference and even though a regular season championship is out of the question, a spot in the top 4 of the Pac-12 Tournament is not. Both teams are two games back of second place and if they can game some ground in the remainder of the season, they can get that coveted spot.
Basically, this game will come down to who can play the best collective game. Which one of these teams will have a full game on offense and defense.
Whichever team can manage to put together the best game plan and execute, will win. Unfortunately, it might not go the Bruins’ way.
Prediction: Stanford 82 – UCLA 76
