Before we get into ‘The Game That Will Be’, we briefly talk about some of the storylines heading into this weekend in ‘Go Joe Bruin Headlines’. The biggest one being the perception of Chip Kelly after the Cincinnati game.

In Judge Chip Kelly After One Season, Not One Game, I write about how the Bruin fanbase should not jump to conclusions about the outcome of one game but should at least wait until the end of the season. We all know that the Bruins are in rebuilding mode, and because of that, UCLA fans should be patient, especially with a new system and a lot of young players.

With that, we get into our deep analysis about UCLA’s game against Oklahoma. As it stands now, it seems like the Bruins are walking into a slaughterhouse.

Currently, the Bruins are 30-point underdogs and we examine why that is from both UCLA and Oklahoma’s perspective. We all know that UCLA has a lot of work to do, but they are going to have their hands full when they take on the #6 team in the nation.

Oklahoma has an amazing offense, one that put up 63 points and 650 yards on Florida Atlantic last week. Though we believe that the Bruins’ defense has improved, it does not appear as if they will be able to slow down this balanced offense.

And what about the Sooner’s defense which was questionable last season? Well, they were at the top of their game last week and should give the Bruins’ offense a lot of trouble. UCLA should match up better than the FAU Owls, but that might not be enough to get the victory in Oklahoma’s house.

We then look at the rest of the Pac-12 which had several surprises last weekend. From USC’s struggle to get a win to Stanford not getting any Love to Herm Edward’s amazing debut with ASU, it was a fun time with the Conference of Champions.
