- Sept 18 vs Hawai’i
As reported yesterday, the Bruins will be taking on the Auburn Tigers. UCLA is definitely branching out when it comes to playing big-time programs and this will be a game to keep an eye on, albeit in nine years. Still, the Bruins will have their hands full when they face this SEC team for the first time. Hawai’i was also added to the future schedule as the Warriors once again return to the Rose Bowl. UCLA still needs one more game to add to their 2027 non-conference schedule.
2028
- Sept 2 at Auburn
With the second game of UCLA’s home-and-home series occurring in 2028, the Bruins will be heading to Jordan-Hare Stadium for the first time in their program’s history. Hopefully, the Bruins are up to the task because this will be a difficult environment to try and pull off a win. UCLA still needs two more games to add to their 2027 non-conference schedule. I expect two cupcakes to be scheduled at the Rose Bowl.
2029
- Sept 15 vs Wisconsin
In the distant future, UCLA will face a foe that has been a bit of a thorn in the Bruins’ side. Though UCLA leads the series, 7-4, the Badgers have won the last three, with the last two being particularly heart-wrenching. Remember the 1999 Rose Bowl and Ron Dayne? Remember the year after that in the 2000 Sun Bowl? Neither do a lot of UCLA fans. UCLA still needs two more games to add to their 2029 non-conference schedule.
2030
- Sept 7 at Wisconsin
In 2030, UCLA will return to Madison for the first time since 1983. Hopefully, they can keep their perfect record intact as the Bruins are 5-0 at Wisconsin.
