UCLA Basketball: Predicting the Bruins’ 2018-19 record
Pac-12 Conference Schedule (cont.)
-Week of Feb. 6 vs Colorado (W) and Utah (W) 17-5, 8-3
Home, sweet home. UCLA comes back to Pauley to licks their wounds from another failed road sweep. Now against the mountain schools, they should have better luck and get the home sweep.
-Week of Feb 13 at California (W) and Stanford (W) 19-5, 10-3

I do not have that little of faith in believing that UCLA cannot get a road sweep. It has happened in the Alford era and it should happen again, especially with all of this talent. UCLA gets their first road sweep of the season when they travel to Northern California.
-Week of Feb. 20 vs Oregon (W) and Oregon State (W) 21-5, 12-3
Oregon will be UCLA’s biggest challenger for the conference title. At this point in the season, the Bruins should be meshing well enough to put away the Ducks and on their way to Alford’s first Pac-12 regular season championship.
-Week of Feb 27 vs USC (W) 22-5, 13-3
Yes, I am predicting UCLA goes on a run and wins nine straight games which will culminate with a victory over USC. In fact, they will dominate the Trojans at Pauley with a 20-point win.
-Week of Mar 6 at Colorado (L) and Utah (W) 23-6, 14-4
And that win streak ends with another attempt at a road sweep but will come up short. UCLA usually has trouble in the mountains and this should be no different.
And with that, UCLA completes the regular season with a 23-6, 14-4 record. Depending on how Oregon does, this should be enough to win the Pac-12 regular season championship and give UCLA the no. 1 seed in the Pac-12 Tournament. If UCLA does better than a first-round loss, this should help the Bruins get at least a no. 3 seed in the NCAA Tournament.
