The UCLA football team has announced the kickoff times and TV assignments for five out of the 12 regular season games of the upcoming 2018 season.

With the 2018 season fast approaching, UCLA football has announced the time and TV assignments for all three non-conference games and two Pac-12 showdowns.

SCHEDULE RELATED: Early Game Previews – Cincinnati | Oklahoma

UCLA has one of the toughest schedules in the nation which begins with a brutal non-conference schedule. All three of those, as well as two Pac-12 games, have now set the kickoff times and TV assignments. They are as follows (all times PT):

  • September 1 vs Cincinnati, 4 pm (ESPN)
  • September 8 at Oklahoma, 10 am (FOX)
  • September 15 Vs Fresno St, 7:30 pm (FS1)
  • September 28 (Fri) at Colorado, 6 pm (FS1)
  • October 26 (Fri) vs Utah, 7:30 pm (ESPN)

For those that have been to the Rose Bowl in September know that it can be unbearable as the heat of late summer roasts the Rose Bowl. Thankfully, the powers that be have scheduled around that.

Chip Kelly’s first game with the Bruins will be against the Cincinnati Bearcats and with the intrigue that surrounds his first season back in college football, this game will be a late afternoon game, which also means it will be prime time for East Coast viewers (7 pm) on ESPN.

Two weeks later, the Bruins return to the Rose Bowl for a late night affair with Fresno State. Though this is a good slot to avoid the heat, it also means the game could extend to approximately 10:30 pm, which could be a bit painful.

In between those two games, the Bruins travel to Norman to face Oklahoma, a team that will surely be in the Top 10 of the AP rankings early in the season. Get your coffee ready UCLA fans as this kickoff at 10 am on the West Coast.

After the Fresno State game, the Bruins have a bye which will be followed up by a Friday night game in Boulder, Colorado, thankfully at the decent hour of 6 pm. UCLA’s other Friday night game during the 2018 season has been scheduled as Utah comes to the Rose Bowl for a 7:30 kickoff.
