UCLA football head coach Chip Kelly has offered out two more scholarships to a quarterback as Houston, TX product Shae Suiaunoa is the 4th to receive one from the 2019 class, just hours after top Texas QB Grant Gunnell was offered.
Apparently new UCLA football head coach Chip Kelly wants all the quarterbacks. He doesn’t want just one or two or three or four, he wants all!

The Bruins first offered 4-star QB Grant Gunnell of Houston, TX. According to 247Sports.com, he is the 3rd ranked pro-style quarterback in the nation. Gunnell has a strong arm and is patient in the pocket, but also has the ability to roll out and think quickly on his feet.
Later, Shae Suiaunoa (Clear Lake/Houston, TX) was offered by the Bruins. He is not a very highly ranked dual-threat quarterback, but he has something that Kelly likes. The Bruin coach has said that he does not care for star ratings. Instead, he goes after what he needs to build his UCLA football team.
Kelly has recently been casting a wide net with recruiting, especially QBs. A few days ago, the Bruins offered 4-star QB Jayden Daniels (Cajon/San Bernardino, CA) who is the top dual-threat quarterback in the nation. This is also on addition to Ryan Hilinski (Orange Lutheran/Orange, CA).
This fall, the Bruins will have five legit starting candidates: Devon Modster, Matt Lynch, Austin Burton, Wilton Speight and Dorian Thompson-Robinson. One could say that Kelly might be hoarding quarterbacks, but it is more likely that he is serious about the direction he is going and giving multiple QBs the opportunity to come and play for his UCLA Bruins.

If anything, Kelly will have depth, which is something the Bruins failed to stock up on in the Mora era. UCLA never properly developed a player to take over for both Brett Hundley and Josh Rosen, this is a mistake Kelly does not intend to make.
