Go Joe Bruin takes a look at the 2018 NFL schedule to let you know when the recently drafted and signed UCLA football players will be returning to Los Angeles.

Interested in UCLA football in the NFL? Well there is a lot to follow, especially next season when the Bruin NFL rookies try to earn their spots on several different teams.

Last weekend, the NFL Draft saw five Bruins selected with three more getting signed as undrafted free agents. Now if you are like us at Go Joe Bruin, you will be very interested in watching these players grow into their new teams.

What is even better, especially for those living in Los Angeles, is that we get to see them up close and personal several times next season. With two pro teams residing in the city of Angels (area), there are even more chances to see some of these new professionals.

Before we get into the schedule, let us review who the newest Bruins are and where they are playing: QB Josh Rosen (Arizona Cardinals), OT Kolton Miller (Oakland Raiders), LB Kenny Young (Baltimore Ravens), C Scott Quessenberry (Los Angeles Chargers), WR Jordan Lasley (Baltimore Ravens), OL Najee Toran (San Francisco 49ers), Jacob Tuioti-Mariner (Atlanta Falcons) and Matt Dickerson (Tennessee Titans).

First off, let us assume that every Bruin makes their respective squad. Second, if you a fan of big men and the Chargers, you will be able to watch Scotty Q play almost every other weekend at the Stub Hub Center.

Other than that, here is the schedule of NFL rookie Bruins and their teams heading to L.A. next season:

  • Week 2 – September 16, Arizona (Rosen) at LA Rams
  • Week 3 – September 23, LA Chargers (Quessenberry) at LA Rams
  • Week 4 – September 4, San Francisco 49ers (Toran) at LA Rams
  • Week 5 – October 7, Oakland Raiders (Miller) at LA Chargers
  • Week 7 – October 21, Tennessee Titans (Dickerson) at LA Chargers
  • Week 12 – November 26, Arizona (Rosen) at LA Chargers
  • Week 16 – December 23, Baltimore Ravens (Young, Lasley) at LA Chargers
  • Week 17 – December 30, San Francisco 49ers (Toran) at LA Rams

***LA Chargers play at the Stub Hub Center in Carson, CA. LA Rams play at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum***

A few notes about this schedule…

For those interested in seeing Rosen’s progression, have the chance to (possibly) see him twice in L.A. as his Cardinals play the Chargers and Rams on the road. Miller may not have a starting spot, but could be up for a back up role with the Raiders. If anything, you will enjoy a lot of former Bruin and current Raider DL Eddie Vanderdoes tearing up the field. The only Bruin rookie that will not make the trip back to L.A. is Tuioti-Mariner whose Falcons don’t play in the So Cal next season.

Next: Which Bruins will be taken in the 2091 NFL Draft?

And lastly, Lasley and Young are joining a very good Baltimore team, so if you want to see two Bruins properly coached up, check out the game against the Chargers in Week 16.
