Then we dive into the episode with some UCLA football talk as we preview the spring game (if it happens). It is going to be fast, it is going to be aggressive and it is going to give us a small sample of what Chip Kelly wants to do this fall, though we all agree that it willingly be a fraction of what we see during the 2018 season.
We then take a look at UCLA women’s basketball’s Jordin Canada and Monique Billings who were both taken in the 2018 WNBA Draft last week. These former Bruins were selected by the Seattle Storm and the Atlanta Dream, respectively, and quickly examine what they bring to the pros.
To finish up, we talk about UCLA men’s basketball. First off, the Bruins receive two signed NLIs as 5-star C Moses Brown and 4-star PG Tyger Campbell officially join the program.
We then take a turn for the awkward and discuss the firing and hiring of an assistant coach. Basically, what was Steve Alford thinking?
