Last Word:
Washington is a bit of a surprise this year. Not exactly a Pac-12 powerhouse, though they have shown that they have the talent to run with the best in the nation and in conference. Their biggest win came against then-#2 Kansas with a 74-65 victory. Though they followed that up with a big loss to Gonzaga, they had a very good start to conference play as they beat USC on their turf on Friday.
The Huskies play balanced team-ball with four players averaging double-digit points per contest. Their biggest threat to the Bruins will be F Noah Dickerson who is putting up 15.5 points and grabbing 7.9 rebounds. If he gets going underneath, that could be trouble for the Bruins who are still having trouble staying consistent with defense.
UCLA needs to continue to push the ball regardless. Welsh and Holiday don’t seem to have a problem scoring, so the younger players are going to have to get involved to collectively push the Bruins past the Huskies. It will be close though.
