It was a wild weekend in Westwood as the Bruins first got a win on Friday night against Cal and the next morning, fans woke up to find out that the most coveted man in the college football coaching carousel, Chip Kelly, had agreed to be the next coach of UCLA football.

Bruin fans hardly had time to take a breath as all this information came at once, but we breakdown everything in this latest episode.

More from Go Joe Bruin

We start with a look at UCLA’s win over Cal which gave them their 6th win of the season, making them bowl eligible. With all that happened the previous weekend with the termination of Jim Mora, and it being Senior Day, emotions were high, but the Bruins managed to fight, fight, fight and get the win, even with Josh Rosen being unable to play in the second half because of what has been speculated as Rosen sustaining another concussion.

We then move into the meat and potatoes of the episode which revolves around one man… Chip Kelly.

How did this happen? How did UCLA manage to get their top target? We go into how all of this went down and how he was perceived in his introductory press conference.

We then take a look at what lies ahead of Kelly as he puts his new team together. From recruiting to the 2018 schedule to championship aspirations, there is a lot to be excited about, but plenty of things to be cautious with.
