7. 2016 Results
We all know the story. UCLA had an ill-fitting offense that had no ground game, the O-line could not adjust, receivers dropped an unnecessary amount of balls and Josh Rosen went down halfway through the season and the Bruins finished 4-8.
Mora gets his first losing season and no bowl to show for his efforts. It was a season to forget, but unfortunately, it is not that easy. UCLA needs to look back at last season and analyze where things went wrong against each opponent.

UCLA was a touchdown away from going 3-0 in the non-conference portion of their schedule, but an overtime loss to Texas A&M to start the season set the tone and struggled.
When the Bruins finally started conference play, they had reason to hope for a victory in the first 3/4 of the game against Stanford. UCLA once again lost to the Cardinal.
UCLA then brutalized Arizona, only to get brutalized by Arizona State the week after. That was the game Rosen injured his shoulder and was done for the season. Mike Fafaul came in to backup Rosen, but things were already on a downward spiral. UCLA painfully went 1-5 in their last six games. Thankfully, that is now history.
