Sunday was a very blessed day for the UCLA Football team who received three commitments in one day which was topped off with the Bruins snagging 4-star wide receiver, CJ Parks.
It was a big Sunday for the UCLA Football team as 3-star WR CJ Parks (Mater Dei/Santa Ana, CA) committed to the Bruins. It was the third commitment of the day as UCLA had also received commitments from 4-star CB Olaijah Griffin and 3-star LB Matthew Tago.
The 5’11”, 186 lbs. Parks is the 20th player to commit to UCLA as the Bruin coaches have really been pounding the pavement on the recruiting trail this cycle.

The new UCLA offensive coaches have already snagged 11 commits. Parks is the second receiver to give his pledge to the Bruins for 2018.
So who is CJ Parks?
The Mater Dei product is not only the second receiver in the class, but is the second player that can play in the slot.
The Bruins hauled in 4-star slot receiver Kyle Phillips a few months ago.
Parks is not exactly a speedster, but is more appropriately built for the short passing game — he is a “move-the-sticks” type of player, according to Go Joe Bruin recruiting specialist Michael Hanna.
Parks has good hands, excellent field awareness and can be quite elusive in smalls spaces. He won’t put on the afterburners, but he will make it as hard as possible for defenders to bring him down.
Things are defeintiyl looking up for UCLA, especially with recruiting. Welcome to Westwood. CJ!
