UCLA Football: Five Bruins Invited to the NFL Combine
The UCLA Football team is going to be represented by five Bruins in this year’s NFL Combine.
UCLA Football Head Coach Jim Mora’s streak of sending players to the league looks to continue this year.
The first step in making that happen is the NFL Combine and this year, five Bruins have been invited to participate.
Today the list of 330 invited players was announced and included former UCLA Football players LB Jayon Brown, OT Conor McDermott, DE Takkarist McKinley, CB Fabian Moreau and DT Eddie Vanderdoes who will all be on full display at this year’s Combine with hopes to improve their draft stock and impress NFL scouts.

With the talent the Bruins are sending, there is no doubt each of the five of these players will find a spot with a team at the NFL Draft. The Combine looks to help with that.
What is the NFL Combine? According to NFLCombine.net, “this intense, four-day job interview is an exciting time for the athletes and a vital step in achieving their dreams of playing in the NFL.”
The Combine will take place from February 28 – March 6, 2017 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.
