In episode 116 of the ‘What’s Bruin Show’, we bring you a fantastic interview with UCLA Basketball legend Tracy Murray as we discussed Bruin hoops.
In this episode, Bill Shirley, Jake Merrifield and I have the pleasure of interviewing one of the all-time great UCLA Basketball players, Tracy Murray.
The Bruin great joined us in a phone interview to discuss many things surrounding UCLA. From his time as a Bruin working under Coach Jim Harrick to his ventures as a sports broadcaster, Murray tells us about how he got to where he is.
We also discuss the current UCLA Basketball team and their hot 10-0 start which has been highlighted by a #2 ranking. Murray talks about what he thinks this Bruin team is capable of, their national perception and his take on Lavar Ball.
This is an interview that we are extremely lucky to have conducted and Murray was a perfect guest and another UCLA Bruin that has graced the What’s Bruin Show with their presence.
After the interview we give a recap on the UCLA-Michigan game and preview them heading into conference play. With UCLA playing UC Santa Barbara, Ohio State and Western Michigan on their remaining non-conference schedule, there is a good chance the Bruins go undefeated before Pac-12 play.
