Texas A&M is a big team and will get physical with the Bruins. UCLA needs to stop forward DJ Hogg who is becoming an explosive player. This season he is leading the Aggies with 15.6 ppg and should give UCLA trouble if no one puts a hand in his face.
In UCLA’s last game, they allowed Nebraska’s Glynn Watson Jr. to score a game-high 27 points. Unless the Bruins went through an intense 24-hour defensive workout, expect Hogg, or one of Texas A&M’s other talents to put some points on the Bruins.
The thing with UCLA is that they can score at will. They also have scoring droughts when defense is applied. The worst of it is the limited defense they have. The Bruins have stretches where they can limit their opponent’s scores, but do not expect them to play shut down defense.

This is going to be a battle in the Honda Center, one that UCLA should be ready for, but the Aggies are also looking to make a splash, and what better way to do it than against the teams whose point guard’s father is guaranteeing a national championship.
Prediction: UCLA 83 – Texas A&M 81
