The UCLA Football team only has a few injuries, but they are notable. The most recent was an ankle inury to DT Eddie Vanderdoes.
Junior DT Eddie Vanderdoes was the latest Bruin to suffer an injury this year. Injuries have been minimal for the UCLA Football team this season, but it has affected several vital components to the offense and defense.
Vanderdoes injured his right ankle during practice on Saturday.
Last week, the Bruins were embarrassed by a single player. Utah’s Joe Williams ran for a personal and a school best 332 yards against UCLA.

The worry on the Bruins side of the ball is that they are reverting back to when the run defense was not good. This season, the Bruins have been able to improve on it, but the Utah game was a setback.
If Vanderdoes is not able to play against Colorado, that will be a big hit to the run defense.
Cornerback Nate Meadors has been out with a groin injury. He is slowly working his way back into practice. His status for Thursday is unknown.
On the offensive side of the ball, starting quarterback Josh Rosen does not appear any closer to returning. BRO reported that he was not “in cleats” for Sunday’s practice. Mike Fafaul should start in his place once again.
Receiver Kenny Walker left practice last week. He may have a concussion.

With the extra half week of rest, the UCLA Football team has a little extra time to heal their wounds. Hopefully these injures can improve and we see these Bruins out on the field on Thursday night. Go Bruins!
