In this very special episode of the What’s Bruin Show, we have our annual ‘Crosstown Podcast’ with Reign of Troy Radio. In the first of this two-part podcast, we preview both the USC and UCLA Football teams as they head into the 2016 season.

In episode 102, hosts Bill Shirley, Jake Merrifield and I welcome back Alicia de Artola and Michael Castillo of Reign of Troy Radio (part of ReignOfTroy.com) to discuss a plethora of topics surrounding the USC and UCLA Football programs who both have high expectations for the 2016 season.

The UCLA Football team takes on Texas A&M to start their year which looks to be promising behind sophomore quarterback Josh Rosen. With changes being made, we discuss how and why the Bruins are using power formations and what it will do for them in the long run.

The USC Football Program is in a similar position as the newest Trojan Head Coach, Clay Helton, is ready to lead his team to victory, albeit through a treacherous schedule. Additionally, will newly appointed starting QB Max Browne be able to handle the pressure or should the Trojans have gone with Sam Darnold? We talk about it all!
