George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, and Franklin D. Roosevelt. Those three comprise some of the greatest presidents in the history of the United States. In the very near future we could be witnesses to the next great face of our nation, President Josh Rosen

It is never to early to begin looking to the safety, security and future of our great nation beyond the election of 2016. This is a situation UCLA Football quarterback Josh Rosen has been in before. As the leader, future and securer of the UCLA nation, Rosen has proven to help a (Bruin) Revolution, but make it thrive.

In his short college career Rosen has already displayed all of the tangible and intangible qualities the great people of America demand of their politicians. He’s a great leader of men, proven himself in the field of battle both in victory and defeat and has the overwhelming support of a campus which in this case could be used as his sample size for his inevitable run to the White House.

If you need more proof as to why Rosen will be the ideal presidential candidate let us revisit some of his memorable moments.

As a freshman on the field he defeated many of his opponents with his arm, mind and legs. He would slice up defenses and even when he struggled, he learned from his mistakes quickly to adapt to challenging circumstances.

Take for example the BYU game in which he threw three first half interceptions but after returning from halftime, lead his team to a comeback win. What could be more American than coming from behind only to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat?

Rosen has also displayed political diplomacy beyond his years when, after defeating his conference rival Arizona, he then hosted a young lady who reached out to him in his dorm.

While the meeting between the two was covered by national media as a boys will be boys type of event, this writer believes that Rosen was demonstrating his capacity to reach out to his rivals and make allies of them as a bold political strategy.

There are plenty of other cases of him preparing himself to one day lead this great nation.

Not to be forgotten was the case of his garb while golfing at a Donald Trump owned golf course. A mindless, lashing out of a young mind? No of course not. That is simply what we call political banter ladies and gentlemen.

Rosen is a leader who fights for what he believes is right, says what he means and who leads his men on the field and learns quickly from his mistakes. He is the type of leader the American people want, nay, deserve.

While most politicians may dance around one another, that is not the way Rosen does business. He is a charging straight ahead, “come at me bro”, I can and will take you down, kind of guy.

That sounds exactly like the kind of man that should be at the head of a great country, great army, and political system.

He again used that same attitude towards the NCAA on the heels of UCLA signing a blockbuster deal with Under Armour while at the same time displaying his extensive economic knowledge and his economic policy.

“We’re still amateurs though…Gotta love non-profits #NCAA,” is clear proof of Rosen’s stand against hypocrisy wherever he sees it.

Rosen is a leader who fights for what he believes is right, says what he means and who leads his men on the field and learns quickly from his mistakes. He is the type of leader the American people want, nay, deserve.

While a Heisman would do wonders for UCLA Nation, a political nomination would serve the greater good in far more ways than we can imagine. Which is why I am at this moment nominating Josh Rosen for President in 2032!
