This season
This season, the UCLA Football team will try to improve off last year’s 8-5 record which had the Bruins end on a 2-game losing streak against USC and then against Nebraska in the Foster Farms Bowl.
The Bruins are changing things on both offense and defense in an effort to maximize the talent on their roster. Newly promoted Offensive Coordinator Kennedy Polamalu has tweaked the offense to incorporate more power formations.
Defensive Coordinator Tom Bradley is focusing more on the 4-3 formation to improve on their run defense. On special teams, the Bruins needed to replace their long snapper, punter and kicker, though appears to have made upgrades at each position as they signed the #2 recruit at each spot.

The Bruins will see a familiar face on Septmeber 3 as former UCLA OC Noel Mazzone now holds them same position with the Aggies. Hopefully the UCLA defense can pick at Mazzone’s offense (all five plays) as they have the last four years in practice. Go Bruins!
