Myles Jack will be the NFL Rookie of the Year… if you believe what UCLA Football Head Coach Jim Mora said on ‘The Rich Eisen Show’.
It was an interesting and awkward 2016 NFL Draft for former UCLA Football player Myles Jack as the right meniscus injury he suffered last season in Westwood caused him to slip into the second round after being projected to be a Top 5 pick.

Bruin Head Coach Jim Mora had discussed the situation regarding Jack when he appeared on The Rich Eisen Show on Friday. Mora was with Jack in Chicago on Day 1 of the draft and discussed how difficult of a situation it was to see Jack fall.

Mora discussed how he gave Jack a ton of advice during the NFL Draft and how he had prepped Jack to act a certain way and not show frustration as he was slipping down the board, because that is the first thing people will see.
Mora had also given Jack a piece of paper with the draft positions of all-time greats like Randy Moss, Aaron Rodgers and Dan Marino. Mora’s point is that it does not matter where Jack is drafted, but what he does with the time on the field that matters.
And that is when it got interesting. Mora came out with it and said that Jack will be the NFL Rookie of the Year next season.
Additionally, Mora said that Jack is one of the three best players that he has had the privilege of working with. The other two being
Michael Vick
and
Julius Peppers
