Athlon Sports pegs UCLA Football sophomore-to-be Josh Rosen as the top quarterback in the Pac-12.
After an epic true freshman season leading the UCLA football team, Bruin quarterback Josh Rosen could be one of the best players in the nation heading into 2016.

If you saw any of Rosen last year, you know that he has undeniable arm strength and is very accurate, so just imagine a player such as himself getting better in year 2.

One outlet in particular has already done that and should have Bruin fans beaming as Athlon Sports has Rosen as the #1 quarterback in the Pac-12 heading into the 2016 college football season.
Rosen was a very good quarterback in 2015, throwing for 3,669 yards, 23 touchdowns and averaged 282.2 yards per game (4th best in the Pac-12).
He was one of many elite west coast QBs such as Jared Goff, Mike Bercovici, Cody Kessler, Kevin Hogan and Vernon Adams, Jr., but all of them except for Rosen have now departed from the Conference of Champions. That essentially leaves the Pac-12 for the taking for Rosen in 2016.
Though the “Conference of Quarterbacks” has been drained of their recent stars, there are several young players that are looking to make a splash in one of the best conferences in the nation.
Here is the complete list from Athlon:
- Josh Rosen (UCLA)
- Luke Falk (Washington State)
- Jake Browning (Washington)
- Dakota Prukop (Oregon)
- Anu Soloman (Arizona)
- Max Browne (USC)
- Sefo Liufau (Colorado)
- Keller Chryst (Stanford)
- Darrell Garretson (Oregon State)
- Chase Forrest (California)
- Manny Wilkins (Arizona State)
- Troy Williams (Utah)

It was apparent that Rosen was going to be one of the best quarterbacks in the conference sooner or later, well I guess it is sooner. Thanks, Athlon! Go Bruins!
